HOW TO GET THERE

Ibadan is served by Ibadan Airport (IBA), with connections via Lagos. Most guests arrive via Murtala Muhammed International Airport (LOS), Lagos, then continue to Ibadan by road — roughly 2–2.5 hours via the Lagos–Ibadan Expressway. Interstate buses, private car hire, and ride-hailing are all available.

GETTING AROUND

Uber and Bolt operate across Ibadan and are the easiest way to move between hotels and venues. Local taxis are widely available; agree fares before departure. Google Maps works well throughout the city.

WEATHER CONDITIONS

August in Ibadan falls within the rainy season's brief “August break”, with temperatures around 22–28°C (72–82°F). Expect warm, humid days with a chance of short showers — a light layer and an umbrella are good company.
